Blue Ash councilmember, former Mayor, dies

The city of Blue Ash announced Friday that councilmember Mark F. Weber had passed away.

Councilman Weber was first elected to City Council in December of 2001. He recently served as Mayor from 2009 to 2013, and served as Vice Mayor from 2005 to 2009.

The life-long Cincinnati resident was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, Miami University and UC College of Law. Weber, an attorney in private practice, served on numerous charitable boards including Boys Hope Girls Hope of Greater Cincinnati and Hero's Fund.

"Mark and his leadership will be truly missed. Mark was a tireless advocate of Blue Ash and Sycamore Community Schools, as well as a dear and loving husband, father and friend," said Blue Ash Mayor Lee Czerwonka.
