SOUTH FAIRMONT, OH (FOX19) - Police say that one teen is in critical condition following an accident in South Fairmount.
The accident happened around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday evening on Harrison Avenue at Fairmount Avenue.
Cincinnati Police say that 19-year-old Willie Monghan was driving a Chevrolet Malibu when he crossed over the center line and struck a United State Postal Service truck. Monghan and his front seat passenger, 19-year-old Ricky Patterson, were not injured in the crash.
Fire units had to extricate the back seat passenger, 19-year-old Terry Feagin, from the car. He was transferred to UC Medical Center with serious injuries. He is reportedly in critical but stable condition.
Dennis Hughes was driving the USPS truck and was not injured in the crash.
Authorities say speed appears to be a factor and that the Traffic Unit is continuing to investigate the accident.
