Suspect leads police on 100 mph chase in Mt. Auburn

A suspect on Thursday led police on an early morning chase that ended in Mt. Auburn.

The chase began north of the city and ended at the intersection of Iowa and McGregor Avenues. The suspect then ditched the car and fled on foot. 

Authorities say the chase reached speeds of 100 mph. 

K-9 units were searching for the suspect, but police indicated the search was over around 5:30 a.m. There is currently no word on if the suspect was caught.
