Metro police searching for suspect in convenience store robbery

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police are looking for a man accused of robbing a Bellevue convenience store on Tuesday morning.

He's accused of holding a clerk at knifepoint and demanding money at Twice Daily at 7201 Highway 70 South.

Police say the man got away with cash from the register.

The suspect is described as a white man with short, dark hair who is in his late 20s or 30s.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
