Williamsburg man arraigned on murder charge in girlfriend's death

GEORGETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

A Williamsburg man was arraigned Thursday in Brown County Common Pleas Court on a murder charge.

A judge continued his bond at $1 million.

Daniel Somoskey, 24, was arrested Monday in connection with the death of girlfriend Stacy Flora.

Police were called around 9 p.m. Sunday to Flora's home in the 1000 block of Shinkles Ridge Road outside of Georgetown. Officers say Flora's body was found inside the home. Police say Flora was shot to death.

A semi crash has shut down I-275 eastbound near I-75. The truck rolled over near the 44 mile marker around 7 a.m. Sunday. Eastbound I-275 at the 44 mile maker is closed. The ramps from I-75 northbound and I-75 southbound to I-275 eastbound are also closed. Dispatchers said the semi is leaking fuel. It was carrying seven industrial paper rolls which are now on the highway. A guardrail was also destroyed in the crash and is sticking out into the roadway.
