Hotel construction worker shot in Springdale, police investigate

SPRINGDALE, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating after a construction worker was shot at a Springdale hotel.

The shooting happened Thursday night at The Hotel Atrium, located at 30 Tri-County Parkway.

The construction worker was outside of the hotel taking a break when two suspects drove up and approached him, according to police. The suspects then robbed and shot the victim in the chest.

The victim was transported to UC Medical Center where authorities say he is in stable condition.

Springdale Police say the suspects got away with some money, but did not take the victim's wallet. Investigators describe the suspects as two black males in their 20s, with long hair. They were last seen driving a silver or gray vehicle.
