Local authors host book signing at Freedom Center today

Freedom Center historian Richard Cooper and co-author Dr. Eric Jackson of Northern Kentucky University will be hosting a signing for their new book, Cincinnati's Underground Railroad.

The signing will take place at 1:00 p.m. today in the Freedom Center on 50 E Freedom Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
 
Part of Arcadia's Images of America series, this book features 200 photos to illustrate the important role of Cincinnati as a crossroads to freedom.

    Michelle R. Henry, 37, was being stabbed by Logan A. Williamson, 37, when Fairfield police forced entry into apartment No. 240 at 1578 Gelhot Drive on June 22, according to police.
