Colorado Snow

Colorado gets snow on day before election

A winter storm has dropped over a foot of snow in parts of Colorado, temporarily closing roads and knocking out power. The heaviest snow Monday occurred in the mountains. Lower elevations reported anywhere from a dusting to about eight inches. Denver reported about two-and-a-half inches. A drier, more stable air mass is headed into Colorado for Election Day, with the forecast calling for sunny skies and warmer temperatures.
