CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A 14-year-old boy who authorities say fatally shot a teenage girl during this past weekend has a lengthy criminal history starting when he was 12, FOX19 has learned.
The following all resulted in convictions:
*2012: three burglaries
*2012: criminal trespass
*2013: obstructing official business
* 2013: disorderly conduct
* 2013: menacing
* 2014: violating court-ordered condition of probation
The boy appeared Monday in Hamilton County Juvenile Court. He is charged with reckless homicide and having weapons under disability. FOX19 is not releasing the boy's name.
The hearing on Monday was continued to April 10. The boy could be tried in adult court.
The charges stem from an incident Saturday afternoon.
Authorities responded around 3:30 p.m. to 3522 Reading Road where they found 14-year-old Tyan Adkins shot inside a second-floor apartment.
Adkins was transported to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center where she died.
