Early voting for May primary begins today

May 6th primary

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Early-voting hours have been established for Ohio's 88 counties in this year's May 6 primary. FOX19's Dan Wells is live at the Hamilton County Board of Elections with details.

Wells tells FOX19 that voters can cast absentee ballots early by mail or in person.

Schedule for in-person voting:

  • April 1-April 4: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • April 7 (last day of voter registration): 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • April 8-April 11: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • April 14-May 2: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • May 3: 8 a.m. to noon.

The primary will be held at the Hamilton Board of Elections this year but the office will move to Mt. Airy in 2017.
