'The Lion King' cast does impromptu in-flight performance

Passengers on a Virgin Australia flight were treated to an all-out live performance on their trip from Brisbane to Sydney. The very talented cast of The Lion King musical in Australia were apparently so excited about the season, they decided to sing "Circle of Life" prior to takeoff.

Lucky for us, the whole thing was filmed and uploaded to Disney on Broadway's YouTube channel.

Student accepted into all 8 ivy league schools

It's tough getting into one ivy league school. But all eight? That's the story for 17-year-old Kwasi Enin at William Floyd High School in Long Island. He received acceptance letters from Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania and Yale.

Many have been sharing his amazing accomplishment on social media. Kwasi got a 2250 out of 2400 on his SAT, which puts him in the 99th percentile. USA Today reports he's taken 11 advanced placement classes, plays sports and sings in the school's a cappella group and volunteers at a local hospital.

His parents immigrated to New York from Ghana in the 1980s and studied at public colleges to become nurses. Being a first-generation American from Ghana helps Kwasi stand out, according to college admissions officials.

And for the record, Kwasi told Newsday that he's leaning toward Yale.
