Authorities found the body of a missing woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease in a pond Wednesday morning in Aurora, Ind.
Dearborn County Sheriff's deputies located the body of a woman in a pond in the 5000 block of Dutch Hollow just after 6 a.m. The victim was later identified as 57-year-old Peggy Dean of Douglas Drive.
Deputies were previously dispatched to a confused woman walking down Dutch Hollow with a blanket. Police and a K9 unit searched the area and later located Dean's body.
The incident remains under investigation by the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office.
