A Bond Hill man was arraigned Thursday in Hamilton County Municipal Court on charges in connection with an alleged kidnapping last November.

James D. Bell, 32, is charged with felonious assault and kidnapping.

Authorities say Bell and two other suspects restrained a female and forced her into a motor vehicle. Bell and one suspect entered a residence in the 2900 block of Commodore Lane in Colerain Township and fired four shots at a male, striking him in the legs.

The two suspects ransacked the residence and demanded money. The suspects found cash and exited. The three suspects took by force the alleged female victim to Sunvalley Apartments in the 5400 block of Kirby Road in Mount Airy in an attempt to obtain more money and drugs.

The suspects then forced the female into an apartment at the same address to search for additional money and/or drugs. The suspects then fled the scene.
