Police are investigating after a 10-year-old boy was struck by a car in Reily Township on Thursday night.
Officers received reports of the incident around 9 p.m. on Sample Road.
Authorities say that Air Care was initially called. However, the helicopter could not fly due to weather.
The child was taken to McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ohio.
Police say they believe the boy sustained skull fractures in the accident. His condition and name are unknown at this time.
