Lee County's Dallas Greene still has another year before graduation, but he's already set his mind on being an honor graduate.
The Trojans' junior is an honor roll student enrolled in two Advanced Placement courses this year.
The shortstop is also one of Lee County's leaders on the field.
Greene calls his mother, who is a teacher, is his support system.
"You wouldn't believe how much help she is," he says. "She does a lot for me."
Greene says it takes a lot of discipline to be able to stay on top of everything in his life.
"You have to be very motivated, because when you're playing sports and taking advanced placement classes, it gets tough," he says. "Plus all the stresses of being in high school anyways, it's tough. But you have to be motivated. You have to have your act together."
Greene says after high school he'd like to continue his baseball career if possible, but ultimately wants to attend medical school and study to be an orthopaedic surgeon.
