Kentucky State Police arrested late Thursday night in Cynthiana, Ky. an inmate who escaped from the Grant County jail early Thursday morning.
Trooper David Jones with the Kentucky State Police's Dry Ridge post, said Friday that Steven Price was caught just before 10 p.m. at a residence on Elmarch Street. Jones said police received a tip that Price was there.
Price, 25, is in the first year of 10-year sentence on burglary charges. He's now facing an first-degree escape charge, a class C felony with a possible sentence of five to 10 years in prison.
Jones said Price "got out and got over the fence somehow" at the jail. Jones didn't provide any additional information about the escape.
