Check out what people are tweeting, sharing and talking about.

Hollywood remembers legendary actor Mickey Rooney

Mickey Rooney, a Hollywood icon with more than 200 film credits to his name, passed away Sunday with his family by his side at his Hollywood home. He was 93.

He received multiple awards including a Juvenile Academy Award, an Honorary Academy Award, two Golden Globes and an Emmy Award. He began performing as a child and had one of the longest careers of any actor, spanning from the 1920s to the 2010s.

His son Michael tweeted, "@rooneydance: It is with sadness that I say my father has passed today. I loved him and so did the world. He inspired so many. Rip dad. Your son."

Actress Rose Marie, a long-time friend, said he was one of the greatest talents show business had ever had. "I shall miss him and the world shall miss him," she said in a statement.

FDNY, NYPD brawl during charity hockey match

An annual charity hockey game between police and firefighters in New York erupted into a mass brawl. Players from both sides cleared the bench during the 41st annual NYPD versus FDNY match. The only two players who didn't appear to be involved were the goalkeepers. The fight caused a 25-minute delay as players penalized and equipment picked up off the ice.

The New York Police Department eventually won 8-5.

Twitter employee live-tweets daughter's birth

When Twitter employee Claire Diaz-Ortiz went into labor on Saturday, she naturally decided to live-tweet the entire event. Using #InLabor, it began when her water broke early Saturday morning.

"@Claire: Currently googling: Did my water just break? #labor"

"@Claire: Moved on. Now officially googling "Am I in Labor?!?"

"@Claire: So this is a contraction. #inlabor"

She tweeted a photo of her Twitter sweatshirt while en route to the hospital, along with, "@Claire: Contractions 5 minutes apart. My @twitter jacket on. Headed to hospital. #inlabor"

And even Twitter employees have car trouble. The car broke down on the way to the hospital, forcing her and her husband to find a taxi.

"@Claire: Speed bumps on road and contractions don't mix. #inlabor"

"@Claire: Car overheating?! Stopping at gas station. #inlabor"

"@Claire: Car now broken down. On side of road. Need taxi. #inlabor"

"@Claire: Taxi found. Checked in at hospital. Screaming women abound. #inlabor"

Upon arrival, she demanded ice chips, described her pain as "BLERGH!!!" and said, "@Claire: Please stop asking what we are planning to name the baby. We don't know. And it's getting awkward. #inlabor"

Finally at 5:33 p.m., Claire tweeted that she gave birth to a baby girl.

"@Claire: Baby girl born! Now, to bond. (Read: See 'ya in a bit, @twitter). #inlabor"
