ELMWOOD PLACE, OH (FOX19) - Elmwood Place Police are searching for two suspects who stole copper piping from a school air conditioner over the weekend.
The suspects entered a fenced area of Elmwood Place Elementary and removed all copper piping from the exterior and interior of an industrial air conditioner, according to Lt. Kevin Vanover.
Authorities say this is the second time copper pipes have been stolen from the school's air conditioning. Repairs from the previous theft, costing $19,000, were completed on Thursday, two days before the piping was stolen again.
The first theft incident occurred two months ago, prompting the school to install security cameras, according to police.
