BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - The Blue Ash Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will be accepting expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs in order to combat pill abuse.
The city says medication put in the trash or toilet can create hazards or can be abused, sold or traded.
Blue Ash Police will be accepting medication 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at the Blue Ash Municipal building park lot as part of National Take-Back Day.
This service will remain anonymous and only pills will be accepted. No liquid medications, lancets, or syringes.
The city says remove all personal information off of the bottles before bringing them to this event.
