Staffer caught kissing Rep. Vance McAllister resigns
Should the so-called 'kissing congressman' run for re-election? Rep. Vance McAllister (R) of Louisiana was caught on surveillance camera kissing a campaign staffer who isn't his wife.
The staffer has resigned, but McAllister, who's campaigned on a "family values" platform, says the scandal wont keep him from seeking to keep his seat. Of course there are no shortage of opinions on social media, with many people saying that McAllister should resign as well.

Texas girl has 'more energy' since weight loss surgery at Children's Hospital
Alexis Shapiro, the 12-year-old girl whose rare metabolic condition caused her to gain almost 2 pounds per week and feel constantly hungry, is recovering from gastric sleeve surgery.
You may remember her family brought her to Cincinnati Children's Hospital in March for gastric bypass surgery. However, complications forced doctors to do a sleeve gastrectomy instead, which reduced her stomach to 25 percent of its original size.
At the time of surgery, she weighed about 200 pounds. Her mom told NBC News she's lost at least 12 of the 40 pounds doctors expect her to lose in the first year. In addition, Shapiro's diabetes is pretty much gone and is off insulin.
Discovery invests in 24/7 TV channel for dogs
Your dogs can only watch so much Game of Thrones, which is why Discovery Communications, the company behind Animal Planet, announced Tuesday an investment in DogTV.
Launched in Feb. 2012, DogTV is the first network made specifically for dogs. The 24-hour cable and online channel broadcasts content in three categories: relaxation, stimulation and exposure. DirecTV customers can purchase DogTV for $4.99 per month and online for $9.99 per month.
With this new investment by Discovery Communications, DogTV said it will use the investment to drive sales and marketing of the network. Up until now, it's been rather hard to monetize with dogs sitting a little outside the 18-49 demographic.
