Loveland Schools, townships, cities seek tax levies in May primary

Hamilton County property owners can visit Auditor Dusty Rhodes' website to see what they will pay in taxes if voters approve proposed levies on the May 6 primary ballot. 

The site is www.hamiltoncountyauditor.org.

Homeowners can go to the levy tab on their property's record main page to see the effect of new levies based on their property's current value. 

Levies on the ballot are:

Hamilton County Development Disabilities programs:

Mills:4.13

Status: Renewal

Term of levy: five years

Annual estimated cost to taxpayer with $100,000 market value: $118.30

Cheviot (current expense)

Mills: 5.16

Status: Renewal

Term of levy: five years

Annual estimated cost to taxpayer with $100,000 market value:$168.36

Loveland Fire/EMS

Mills: 1.75

Status: Additional

Term of levy: Continuing

Annual estimated cost to taxpayer with $100,000 market value: $61.25

Milford Fire/EMS

Mills: 12.50

Status: Renewal of 10.5 mills, increase of 2 mills for a total of 12.5 mills

Term of levy: three years

Annual estimated cost to taxpayer with $100,000 market value: $385.12

Woodlawn Fire/EMS

Mills: 5

Status: Additional

Term of levy: five years

Annual estimated cost to taxpayer with $100,000 market value: $175

Delhi Township Police

Mills: 2.49

Status: Additional

Term of levy: Continuing

Annual estimated cost to taxpayer with $100,000 market value: $87.15

Colerain Township Police

Mills: 1.95

Status: Additional

Term of levy: Continuing

Annual estimated cost to taxpayer with $100,000 market value: $68.25

Loveland City Schools

Mills: 5.60
