(FOX19) -

It's spring and that means road construction.

Local projects that the Ohio Department of Transportation says motorists will see work either begin or continue include:

  • Construction of a new interchange at Interstate 71 and Martin Luther King Dr. in Cincinnati's Uptown area
  • Construction of a loop ramp to relieve congestion at the Fields-Ertel/Mason-Montgomery intersection
  • Reconstruction of I-275/Ohio 32 interchange to add capacity and eliminate access point conflicts to improve safety and traffic flow on Ohio 32 and the I-275/Ohio 32 and Ohio 32/Eastgate Boulevard interchanges.

The ODOT says its 2014 construction season includes 936 different projects throughout the state totaling $2.5 billion.
