Two local women are staring in a new reality show that premiered this week on the TLC Network.

Cincinnatians Jenny Luke and Jennifer Mitsch are featured in ‘Women of Homicide,' a reality show that TLC claims  "takes an honest and unprecedented look  at life as a female detective in the male-dominated world of homicide investigation."

Luke has solved 70 homicide cases for the city of Cincinnati and has been in the force for 20 years, says TLC.

Mitsch has been with Cincinnati Police for 16 years and a part of the homicide unit for eight years.

Cameras follow around the two women as they investigate local homicides, but also feature aspects of their personal life.

Jenny Luke and Jennifer Mitsch will be on the FOX19 Weekend Morning News on Saturday.' Women of Homicide' is on TLC Wednesdays at 9 p.m.
