(FOX19) -

A 25-year-old woman has died in a Saturday afternoon accident on Interstate 74.

Police say Ashley Riley, 25, was driving a Dodge Durango eastbound on 74 when she struck another vehicle and then hit a barrier wall, flipping the Dodge onto its side.

Riley, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene, according to authorities.

A child in the vehicle was transferred to Children's Hospital for observation. Police said the child was properly restrained in a car seat. The other passenger, a 27-year-old male, was treated and released at the scene.

The passengers of the other vehicle involved were not injured.

Cincinnati's Traffic Unit says they are continuing investigations into the crash.
