COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A man arrested in connection to a SWAT standoff in Colerain Township is expected to appear in a Hamilton County courtroom Tuesday morning.

Matthew Dodd, 26, of Colerain Township, was charged with obstructing official business, inducing panic, improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation or school safety zone and using weapons while intoxicated.

The Hamilton County SWAT team and Colerain Township Police responded to reports of a standoff on Firshade Terrace Monday around 1:30 a.m. Police said the suspect apparently fired shots in the air after a domestic disturbance.

Neighbors were put on lockdown for several hours until police were able to talk the suspect out of the apartment complex.

Dodd was taken into custody and is being held on a $17,500 bond.
