A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued through 9 p.m. Severe storms with damaging winds and hail are possible through Wednesday evening. Thunderstorms are beginning to fire in the warm and humid air west and north of the FOX19 viewing area and it looks like they will gain strength as the push southwest towards us. The storms will likely be severe this evening with strong gusty winds, large hail and torrential rain the main threat. Overnight the storms will settle down and be scattered for the morning commute. Tomorrow afternoon the sky begins to clear, setting the trend for a nice holiday weekend. Memorial Day Weekend: Dry and Comfortable In The Mid-70's To Near 80 Degrees for Sunday and 85 degrees for Memorial Day.
