BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) - Fire crews say that an electrical short in an attic ventilation fan is to blame for a Bond Hill house fire on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities received reports of the fire around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Joseph Street.
Crews arriving on the scene reported a working fire with smoke showing form the attic of the brick building. All occupants of the building were able to safely escape prior to the arrival of fire crews.
Investigators have determined the cause of the fire to be an electrical short in the attic ventilation fan. Damage has been estimated at $10,000.
No one was injured in the blaze.
