A tip from a neighbor led Blue Ash police to seize 220 pounds of marijuana on Wednesday.
A resident of an apartment building at 3793 Fox Run Dr. called police after noticing a strong smell of marijuana, according to authorities. Police served a search warrant to apartment #206 where the smell originated.
Blue Ash police say they found 220 pounds of marijuana inside. The marijuana was packaged into half-pound bricks and has an estimated street value of approximately $225,000, according to police.
Lieutenant Steve Schueler said he believes the apartment was used strictly for storing drugs because no other items were inside. No arrests have been made in the case at this time.
Blue Ash police are continuing to investigate and have not said if any arrests were made. They ask anyone with information about the case to contact Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
