(FOX19) - Cincinnati Bell said Thursday that approximately 60 employees might be let go as the company outsources some internal information technology functions.
"We are working to retain as many employees as possible through retraining and reassignment to other departments," spokeswoman Angela Ginty said in a statement. "The company will provide job placement services, financial planning services and severance packages to any impacted employees. These changes will have no negative impact on Cincinnati Bell customers."
Cincinnati Bell announced April 7 that it is selling its wireless division to Verizon Wireless.
