ROSELAWN, OH (FOX19) - Firefighters are investigating after a fire ravaged a Roselawn home causing nearly $85,000 in damage.
The fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 7700 block of Stillwell Road. Crews arriving on the scene reported flames and heavy smoke coming from the two-story building.
The fire damaged the top floor of the building. Crews say the fire had already reached the ceiling and rafters by the time they arrived on scene.
Officials say that the building was a four-family apartment. The top units were heavily damaged by the blaze. The lower units received smoke and water damage.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Officials have estimated the damage at $85,000.
