Traffic is heavy on race mornings and officials encourage arriving early and carpooling. Arriving early is especially important if you plan on parking near the start.
All streets south of 4th Street will close at 6 a.m. in preparation for the marathon to begin at 6:30.
Taylor Southgate Bridge from Newport to Downtown and the Clay Way Bailey Bridge from Covington to Downtown close at 5 a.m.
Columbia Parkway: One westbound lane will be open from Mariemont. Eastbound Columbia Parkway will remain open. Westbound ramp from Columbia Parkway to Eastern Avenue will be closed.
Ramp from Red Bank Road to Westbound Columbia Parkway is closed.
All streets will reopen as racers clear from the route.
