Police identify victim in Avondale murder

AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) -

 Police are investigating after a man was found dead in an apartment on Alaska Avenue.

The victim, 68-year-old Lee A. Henley, was found on Sunday by a neighbor conducting a welfare check, police said.

Police said the victim did not initially appear to have trauma, but the coroner later found wounds to the side of the body. They said it was unclear how long the victim had been deceased.

Authorities said they're investigating it as a murder, but currently have no suspects.
