Louisville Slugger goes pink for Mother's Day

LOUISVILLE, KY (FOX19) - Louisville Slugger is going pink this Mother's Day to fight breast cancer.

Bats were dipped with a new hot pink look Monday. Louisville Slugger is donating two hot pink bats to hundreds of MLB players.

Since 2006, Louisville Slugger has contributed nearly $300,000 worth of pink bats to major league players to swing on Mother's Day at no cost to the team or players.

Select Reds will swing the pink bats May 11 as they take on The Colorado Rockies at Great American Park at 1:10 p.m.
