ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Authorities say that 48 students were on board a school bus in Anderson Township when it was struck by an intoxicated driver.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Asbury Road.
A Forest Hills School District bus, driven by 41-year-old Moria Losenthal, was stopped in front of a home on Asbury Road. Police say that the bus had its flashers activated as Losenthal was planning on dropping off students.
Authorities say that a 2012 Volkswagon, driven by 53-year-old Carol Reynolds, was traveling northbound when it struck the rear end of the stopped bus.
Officers say that 48 children were on the bus. Neither Losenthal nor any of the students were injured in the crash.
Reynolds was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to Mercy Hospital Anderson at the request of the fire department where she was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Reynolds has been charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle while impaired and one count of failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
