Suspect Dragged Across Interstate & Attacked By K-9

The police departments involved in a bizarre traffic stop on I-71

Saturday morning aren't commenting about the tactics used to control a female suspect. FOX19 obtained a copy of Cincinnati Police cruiser camera video taken early Saturday morning 14 miles north of Downtown. Police say Diane Aikin of Mason refused to stop and threatened to run them over. That's why they fired two dozen pepper spray balls at her van, dragged her across the interstate, and allowed a Golf Manor police K-9 to latch on to her legs. Aikin's attorney, Richard Vande Ryt, says the suspect's family is distraught about the incident.  Vande Ryt is planning to review the video.  Aikin is facing a long list of charges and at last check had not bonded out of the Hamilton County Justice Center.
