Adrien Broner suspended for racially insensitive comments

Cincinnati native and professional boxer Adrien Broner has been suspended by the World Boxing Council (WBC) after he made racially-charged comments.

Broner easily beat opponent Carlos Molina Saturday in a unanimous decision. During the post-fight interview with Showtime's Jim Gray, Broner said, "I've beaten Africans and I just beat the F---out of a Mexican."

The suspension was further explained, along with an ultimatum, in a statement on WBCBoxing.com:

"Adrien Broner , former WBC lightweight champion has offended many persons of the world with his words during the interview after the fight vs Molina .

The World Boxing Council holds human equality as its banner and will not accept a former WBC champion to make racially offensive statements.

Since words have different meanings and can be interpreted in different ways , the WBC is issuing this open letter to Adrien Broner to either clarify what he meant with his words or to issue a public apology if those words were intended to be despective and offensive .

HGTV cancels real estate reality show starring anti-gay activist

The HGTV Network has pulled the plug on an upcoming real estate show after a report pointed out one of its hosts has campaigned against gay marriage and denounced homosexuality.

The show, called "Flip It Forward," was set to debut in October and would have featured twins David and Jason Benham buying and renovating real estate.

After the HGTV announced the show was upcoming, the lobbying group Right Wing Watch labeled David Benham an "anti-gay extremist" and reported on quotes he made about homosexuality.

HGTV tweeted Wednesday saying it is "not moving forward" with the series.

Woman's cringe-worthy "Family Feud" fail

On Tuesday's "Family Feud," all the Sass family of Stockton, California, was so close to winning $20,000. All they needed was just 18 points.

After the father scored an impressive 182 points during the first part of the speed round, Anna Sass was set up in a perfect position to win the cash.

In the second part of the speed round, she had the same five poll questions.

Homeless man featured in viral video gets a home

Last March, popular YouTube personality Rahat gave a "winning" lottery ticket to the homeless man, identified as Eric. Video of Eric's reaction went viral after he attempted to selflessly share his earnings with Rahat.

More than 15 million people watched the video, and people from around the world were moved to help him. In fact, an online fundraiser was set up and raised more than $40,000.

A new video posted Wednesday shows Rahat giving a fully-furnished house to the same homeless man. Watching his reactions will give you "goosebumps the whole way through," as one person commented.
