Air care transported one person to the hospital on Saturday
following an accident in Miami Township.
The two-car crash happened on Wolfpen Pleasant Hill Road around
5:45 p.m. A Ford Focus and P.T. Cruiser collided, prompting air care to
transfer one person and ground ambulance another. The extent of their injuries
is unknown at this time.
"We hit a little bit of a slick spot about halfway down the hill,
lost control and went left of center and hit the Ford Focus on the driver's
side," said a passenger in the P.T. Cruiser who was not injured.
The Ford Focus was pinned against the guardrail and one person had
to be extricated from a car.
An official cause of the crash has yet to be released.
