COLERAIN, OH (FOX19) - Fire crews pulled a man from a burning Colerain building on Saturday morning.
Officials received reports of the fire around 4:15 a.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of West Galbraith Road. Crews arriving on the scene reported heavy smoke coming from the building.
Firefighters arriving on the scene forced their way into the home to find a single occupant suffering from smoke inhalation. The victim was pulled from the building and transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
Officials say that one firefighter also suffered minor back injuries at the scene.
Authorities say that the building suffered heavy smoke damage. Damage has been estimated at $25,000.
Four families were displaced in the blaze. They are currently being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
