An upcoming fundraising event will connect attendees with Cincinnati's most courageous women, all to benefit the City Gospel Mission Women's Recovery Program.

Courage to be YOU will let women recharge with vendors that pamper, nourish and encourage women to be who they were created to be.

Event organizer Jessica Hamm said attendees range in age from 30 to 55 who are professionals, small business owners, wives, moms, philanthropists as well as members of the women's recovery program.

Hamm and NanCakes owner Nancy Aichhotz, one of the vendors on the list, visited the FOX19 Morning Xtra to promote the event and prepare the bakery's signature carrot cake.

Details: 5:30 p.m. June 3. Tickets begin at $35 and include first two vendor experiences. BOOST, 538 Reading Rd., Pendleton. Register at www.citygospelmission.org.
