CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in two bank robberies in Cincinnati and Colerain Township.
Colerain Police were called to the US Bank, located in the 8200 block of Colerain Avenue, around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning. Officers received reports of a robbery in progress at the location.
Upon arrival, officers say that the suspect's description matched that of the suspect involved in a robbery at Fifth Third Bank, located on Cincinnati's Fountain Square, on Tuesday.
Colerain officers also received a description of the vehicle involved in the robbery. Authorities say that the suspect vehicle was spotted in Cincinnati's West End and apprehended the suspect.
Colerain detectives have charged Derwin Gadson, 41, in the offense. He has been charged with one count of robbery from Wednesday's incident. Cincinnati Police also charged Gadson with one count of robbery from Tuesday's incident on Fountain Square.
Gadson is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
