Memorial Day Field Mass, 11 a.m. Monday, Gate of Heaven Cemetery & Mausoleums, 11000 Montgomery Road, Montgomery. Cincinnati Archbishop Dennis Schnurr celebrates the Mass that honors veterans and deceased family members. Mass is outdoors at the Bishops Memorial. Bring lawn chairs.
125th consecutive Memorial Day Parade, noon Monday, Miamitown. Service at Miami Cemetery follows the ceremonies.
Memorial Day Bell Ceremony, noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road, Anderson Township.
Memorial Day Commemoration, 2 p.m. Monday, Veterans Park, 6231 Harrison Ave., Green Township
10:30 a.m. Monday Independence Towne Center, Independence. The Moon Brothers American Legion Lodge and the city of Independence have their annual parade.
10:30 a.m. Monday, St. John Lutheran Church on Lower Tug Fork Road, Camp Springs, Admission is free for the annual Camp Springs Memorial Day Parade. Memorial services will take place after the parade at 11:30 a.m.
11:30 a.m. Monday, Notre Dame Academy, Park Hills. Park Hills celebrates Memorial Day with a parade and flag raising ceremony. The parade goes on rain or shine.
Groundbreaking ceremony for the Kentucky National Guard Memorial at 2 p.m. Monday at Boone National Guard Center, Frankfort, Ky. Nearly 10 years in the making, the Kentucky National Guard Memorial will honor nearly 500 citizen soldiers and airmen who have given their lives in the line of duty, both here at home and in defense of the nation on foreign soil. The memorial is expected to be completed in time for a dedication ceremony on Veterans Day in November. Funding for the memorial came from private donations and corporate grants.
