BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - A sobriety checkpoint will be held Friday night in Blue Ash.
The Hamilton County OVI Task Force will operate a sobriety checkpoint in conjunction with the Blue Ash Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Friday's checkpoint will be located in the 9000 block of Plainfield Road in Blue Ash. Operations will begin at 11:00 p.m. and end at 3:00 a.m.
Motorists will also notice an increased police presence in the surrounding area as officers and troopers search for impaired drivers.
During the past year, 36 drivers have been arrested and 9 OVI-related crashes have occurred within one mile of the checkpoint location.
