Two men are dead following what police believe to be a murder-suicide in Covington, Ky.
Shots were fired Sunday around 6 p.m. outside of a Dairy Queen on Decoursey Avenue. Authorities said a man shot and killed another man inside of the car before turning the gun on himself.
"This does not appear to be a random act and we are confident that the community is not at risk," said a release from Covington Chief of Police Spike Jones.
Tiffany Irwin, who lives near the Dairy Queen, claims she witnessed the incident and said the shooter was firing inside a vehicle with children in it.
Covington Police confirmed two men are dead, but have yet to comment on any details regarding the nature of the incident.
They said the investigation is ongoing and more information will be released once family members are notified.
