(FOX19) -

The family of missing University of Cincinnati student Brogan Dulle announced Monday that it will not be organizing any additional volunteer search efforts until further notice because an extensive search area has been covered multiple times.

"Due to the tremendous response from the Cincinnati and UC communities, we have canvassed the city with fliers in just five days in what we had anticipated would take weeks to accomplish," family spokeswoman Laura Lewis said. "This has been an unprecedented effort to find Brogan Dulle."

More than 1,000 volunteers have helped in the search for Dulle who went missing at 2 a.m. May 18 from his apartment on East McMillan Street in Mount Auburn.

Dulle, 21, is a graduate of Turpin High School in Anderson Township. He is studying education at UC.

"Brogan's family is overwhelmingly grateful for the love, prayers, support and time given by family, friends and strangers across the country," Lewis said.

T-shirts and fliers will be available Monday at the Taste of Cincinnati festival downtown.

Those with information about Dulle are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
