A frantic search for a missing 7-year-old boy had a happy ending Tuesday morning.
Portland police alerted the public after Michael Wagner Jr. disappeared from his home near 84th Place and Clinton Street in Portland at about 8:30 a.m.
There was no foul play suspected, but police were worried about Wagner because of his age. In a news release, they said he was believed to be riding a lime-green mountain bike.
Shortly after police alerted the media about Wagner's disappearance, his mother learned Wagner had ridden his bike to his grandmother's house.
It was about a 7-mile bike ride.
