SHARONVILLE, OH (FOX19) -

A $14 million hotel is coming to the Sharonville Convention Center, the city announced Wednesday.

The city said that Rolling Hills Hospitality Group will begin work on a 120-room hotel. They hope that the addition of the hotel will bring a positive economic impact to the area by allowing for more conventions and trade shows. This will also be part of the city's multi-million dollar redevelopment of Sharonville's Northern Lights Entertainment District.

"We are excited about joining forces with Rolling Hills to bring a top notch hotel property to the newly renovated Sharonville Convention Center," Sharonville Mayor Kevin Hardman said. "This is a crowning achievement to the ongoing transformation of our Northern Lights District."

Last year, the Sharonville Convention Center underwent a $25 million renovation and expansion to make room for events and conventions in the region.

Bimal Patel, the founder of Rolling Hills Hospitality will oversee the development of the hotel. Once the ground is broken for construction, the hotel will take 16 months to complete.
