(FOX19) -

A school bus transferring students from Little Miami Intermediate School was evacuated on Thursday after an unknown substance was found on board.

Hazmat teams and chemists were called in and deemed the substance was not hazardous.

All the children were removed from the bus at Achterman Road at Cozzaddale. Two of them were taken to Bethesda Arrow Springs Hospital as a precaution while crews investigated.

The other child passengers were transferred to another school bus.

Harlan Township Fire Chief Andy Mitten described the substance as small white pellets.
