MADEIRA, OH (FOX19) - Authorities said multiple people were injured, including a 10-year-boy critically, after an accident Friday morning in the 7300 block of Camargo Road in Madeira.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said a 2002 Saturn SL2 operated by Amie Woodward, 33, of Cincinnati, was traveling northbound on Camargo Road when she lost control and entered into a right bound curve. Woodward attempted to regain control by steering but wasn't successful. Her vehicle then began to rotate out of control, traveling across the double yellow center line.

A 2011 Toyota Sienna was traveling in the opposite direction when the Saturn encroached into its lane, resulting in an angular collision. The impact forced the Saturn off of the left side of the road and onto a grassy shoulder. The Toyota, driven by Sheryl Melvin, 57, of Loveland, came to a stop in the southbound lane of Camargo Road.

Corban Hansen, 10, of Cincinnati, was seated in the right rear of the Saturn. He suffered critical injuries and was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Ava Hansen, 8, and Anna Kabbes, 2, of Cincinnati, were also in the Saturn's backseat but were not hurt.

Woodward suffered minor injuries and was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Melvin and her front seat passenger -- Becca Melvin, 19, of Loveland, were not hurt.

All occupants from both vehicles used their seat belts and/or a child restraint seat.

The sheriff's office said alcohol and drugs are not known to be factors. Deputies also said charges are pending further investigation.
