Summerfair Cincinnati is returning to Coney Island this weekend for its 47th year.
From May 30 to June 1, the fair will feature more than 300 artists and craftspeople, regional performers and a variety of food vendors.
There will also be a youth arts area where children can participate in entertainment and hands-on activities.
This year, for the first time, the fair will also include Summertime After Hours—a two-hour free concert featuring singer-songwriter Jen Chapin.
The Little Black Dress Event takes place on Friday from 7-11 p.m. Tickets for this event are available online for $15 at 2014LBD.EventBrite.com or at the West Gate entrance the day of the event for $20 (cash only). Proceeds made from the fashion show benefit Summerfair Cincinnati's award, scholarship and exhibition programs for local arts organizations.
Tickets for the Summerfair are $10 and children under 12 get in free. Parking is free with tickets.
