HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police said an argument led to a cutting outside of a night club around 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

According to Classic Wheels Lounge owner C.T. Harris, two men pulled up in a car and started yelling anti-gay slurs while the club was shutting down. It was on Alternative Night which consisted of a gay and lesbian crowd.

Harris said the nightclub guests tried to tell the men they didn't want any trouble, but one of the men grabbed a knife and began stabbing two gay men.

Officers said the victims were both cut multiple times in the struggle, and the attacker left the area. The victims reportedly drove themselves to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Harris said the two men were released from the hospital and are recovering at home.

Police are still looking for the men involved in the alleged hate crime.
